Surfboard Fence, Maui

This surfboard fence has become an icon in Hawaii. As the years have passed, the foliage has grown substantially and changed the angle at which one can photograph this spot. I enjoyed the small palm trees in the foreground, which adds an authentic flavor to this fun image. Sometimes art can be all about fun. Given the time I have spent surfing (very small waves) in Hawaii, this shot has a special flavor that reminds me of the joy I find on the islands.
