Gold Rush, Emerald Bay

I had envisioned this image, with Eagle Falls rushing in the foreground, and a sunstar with first morning light backlighting the falls. Early summer provides heavy snow run off while the sun is in the ideal position for the composition. My large format camera allows for only one or two exposures before the sun stops refracting over the mountain top. On this morning, that was all I needed.
