Tahoe Coyote

The beauty of Lake Tahoe is the blending of wilderness and civilization. I often carry my wildlife camera with me during the day as I drive around running errands. This is a great example as to why I do that. On my way back from UPS, I took a detour and drove past a meadow, instead of through town. Here is the result. A beautiful coyote prowling the newly green meadows in search of field mice. I take any chance I can get to escape!
