Eagle Falls Sunrise Panorama I

Very few places are more exciting to photograph than Emerald Bay in late Spring. Sunrises here are amazing, there are very few, if any people, and Eagle Falls is absolutely roaring with snow melt. I love setting up my large format camera by headlamp and waiting with great anticipation for the sun to peak over the horizon. As the sun refracts over the mountain ridge it creates a dramatic sunstar, and the warm light just begins to hit the water in the foreground.
