Quiet Aspens & Snow

This is a new release, and one of my first composed and captured on my 8x10 inch film camera. I have moved to this very large format to further slow down my artistic process and pick my images even more selectively. "Quiet Aspens & Snow" embodies the essence of why I do the work I do (and what differentiates my ART from mere pictures). The peace I experienced in this place, at this time, is truly felt in the final print. I visited this South Lake Tahoe location numerous times, hoping for that perfect light accompanied by a stillness that can only be described as spiritual. The large film captures detail unatainable with any other medium and is capable of lifelike print quality in extraordinary sizes. I want to do justice to both my natural subject matter and my collectors expectations. This does it! "Quiet Aspens & Snow" is a print that is not merely viewed, but experienced.
