Often overlooked as people rush past to see the iconic Delicate Arch, these Ute Petroglyphs are just a few minutes from the Delicate Arch parking area. I am very glad I took the time to visit this location. These figures, etched in stone, depict the hunting ways of the Ute Tribes of the region. Big Horn Sheep and human figures on horse back. The simplicity of this scene, and the lifestyle it depicts, is a vast difference to the lives we live today.
