Eagle Landing

Eagle Landing

Plan, observe, be patient and take luck any day you can get it. I had waited in the rain for over 5 hours expecting bears to return to a location I had photographed them several days prior. As the overcast sky would brighten or darken, I would adjust the settings on my camera just in case something happened quickly. As I stood to adjust the camera one last time, this eagle (the only one I saw in ten days here) swept up the river, started to settle in this tree and then continued on his way. I was able to get 4 frames off in that brief time. Luckily, this one was a keeper!
