Approaching storm, kettle pond, denali

After a long hike on the tundra toward Denali, from my camp, I arrived at my intended sunset location. With great anticipation of a colorful sunset I scouted for the exact composition. With the front of a storm approaching, and summit of Denali just peaking through the clouds, I took the opportunity to capture this image. The softer feel of whites and greys, reflections and muted Fall color share the sense of peace I felt while soaking in this incredible place.
