El Capitan Reflection, Yosemite Valley, California

This location, along the Merced River, is one of my favorite in Yosemite Valley. I felt very little when considering a composition including El Capitan literally in the scene. this image, of a detailed reflection of El Capitan in morning light, including just enough of the background beach and forest for perspective, is much more interesting and impactful. That's how I saw it.
