Reflected Bear, Lake Tahoe

Taken in very late Fall, this young black bear was peering into a stream looking for the last spawning salmon of the season. At this point, bears are willing to eat fish that are "less than fresh" in order to pack on every last calorie for their winter sleep. The evening light was incredible, bringing a warm glow to this blond bears fluffy winter coat. I hope to see him again in the spring! Enjoy!
