Corn Lilies are one of my favorite plants, with their huge overlapping leaves and beautiful structure. When the leaves are backlit by the sun, they absolutely glow. For this grouping, I focussed on the patterns of the leaf structure as the sun lit them from behind. The high key black and white presentation adds a delicate touch, accentuating the feeling of light and elegance I was moved by. This grouping exudes the energy only found in the Spring, affirming new life and abundance.
