Wolf Moon Panorama, Lake Tahoe

The first, and largest full moon of the year, Wolf Moon Panorama was taken in January 2010. I had envisioned this image for quite some time, but it took a couple of years for the lighting conditions to come together just right. With the light cloud cover, bright moonlight and perfect angle, the image came together beautifully. Using my 6x17cm panoramic film format gave the unique view of South Shore I was hoping for. The exposure and processing were complicated, and thus, it was rewarding to put my experience to the test and bring the image to life. This photograph is truly luminous!
