Echo Falls
This image is the result of 6 years of patience! I had my eye on this location, and had noticed poor renditions of this idea several times. I knew there was something special here, but I had to wait until Mother Nature was ready to share it with me. This mage required peak Fall color, an early snow fall, warming to melt the sow, and a rainy day, which wet and saturated the colors and provided soft light via cloud cover. All of this, along with a long exposure to soften the water, created the moment I was waiting for. I took a total of 2 exposures with 4x5 inch film. Perfect!
Enjoy the View!
