Home on the Range, Grand Teton National Park

This is a different perspective on a well known area in Grand Teton National Park. I had envisioned this image for quite some time, but never had the sky to complete the scene. This evening brought the vision together. My intent was to show how vast and remote this location was when the early settlers chose to start thier new life in the west. This black and white image acheives that goal, sharing an insight into their reality, and tapping into our modern dreams of a more simple time living in a land of promise and beauty. May this image transport you to a time of freedom and dreams! Enjoy the view!
