Bonsai Rock has become a very popular photographic location in Lake Tahoe. While I don't mind shooting iconic locations, I always try to compose a unique view of the subject. On this particular fall evening I was able to capture the amazingly warm light bathing the granite boulders and pine forest, along with beautiful reflections. I love the fact that details of the rocky lake bottom can be seen beneath the reflections on the water. My work is all about the details.
