Valhalla Pier Sunset Panorama
I have a special fondness for the area surrounding Valhalla and the Tallac Historic Site here in South Lake Tahoe. Not only have my wife and children and I spent a lot of time here, but my wife and I were married in the historic building just 100 yards behind me. On this particular Fall evening I watched the sky build and realized there was a great sunset possibility, so, I headed strait for the pier. As luck would have it, it was a bit cold for anyone to be hanging out on the pier, so I was able to compose my image and quietly wait for Mother Nature to work her magic. What a show!
