Morning with Mom

Spring in the mountains is special. After living in a cold white world for months, the warmer weather and vibrant colors are a feast for the senses. When my parents came for a visit I thought it would be wonderful to share a morning photo excursion with my mom! We visited a location I spend a lot of time in each year, but where I had never “seen” a compelling composition. Apparently my mom brought me luck. This field of Lupine stood almost chest high, and the background of white aspen trunks screamed to me. This image is the embodiment of Spring in the mountains, and a fitting gift to have shared with my mom!
