Blond Bear Reflecting
Each year the Kokanee Salmon spawn in Taylor Creek here in South Lake Tahoe. This brings out the black bears, as they try to fatten up in preparation for a long winters sleep. This beautiful three year old blond colored bear was observing the salmon and considering going after one last fish before heading off to sleep. This quiet moment, which had me deep in contemplation, made me think the same for the bear. One of the most beautiful bears I've seen in Lake Tahoe, bathed in mornings first light. Perfect!
