Moose are some of my favorite animals. They are big and gangley, and remind me of my favorite places to explore and photograph. This big bull was following a cow around in Grand Teton National Park. As he scanned the area, prepared to thwart any competitors advances, I had the opportunity to capture this quiet moment. As he stood still, bathed in sunset light, his massive size was apparent. This grand animal represents the wild that remains in Wyoming.
