Mount Tallac & Clouds over Fallen Leaf, Lake Tahoe Basin

This winter morning was cold and windy, but the light and clouds were interesting. I chose to use a dark filter over my lens to enable me to use an extremely long exposure. The affect of the long exposure was a streaking of the clouds and a smoothing of the waters surface. The clarity and color in the water tie strongly to the sky, showing the power of the season and beauty of the mountains.
